RIA Launch Campaign
The LifeWealth Group · 2025- 99%Client retention
- $428MAssets secured
- 500+Clients retained
The brief
The LifeWealth Group was transitioning to an independent Registered Investment Advisor, and the whole relationship rode on one thing: clients understanding the move and feeling confident enough to come with us. The objective was a campaign that reached clients everywhere they already were — digital platforms, dedicated landing pages, print, and in-person marketing — and walked them through the RIA transition process without friction or fear.
The hurdle was the benchmark. Firms making an RIA transition typically retain around 80% of their clients. We didn’t want to meet that number. We wanted to beat it, decisively.
The idea
We built the campaign as a sequence, meeting clients at each stage of their confidence.
First, a series of hype videos to create momentum and get clients talking about the change before the details even landed. We followed that with a run of emails and explainer videos that broke the transition process down step by step, so nothing about the move felt uncertain.
For the clients who still needed a personal touch, we wrote phone scripts that gave advisors a clear, reassuring way to have one-on-one conversations. And to respect where each client was in their decision, we built a simple opt-in system that separated clients who were ready to sign from those who needed more time — so every follow-up was the right one.
The result
The campaign did its job before we even pulled the trigger: over 50% of our AUM was queued to transfer to the new RIA ahead of launch.
By the end, the numbers cleared the industry benchmark by a wide margin — 99% client retention, with $428 million secured across more than 500 clients.
